    2007 Mercury 9.9 4-stroke wot problems

    low hrs. on this motor, starts good and runs great but only to 2900 or 3000 rpms. After i get past 1/2 throttle there is no increase in rpms, no sputtering runs smooth. wot is between 5000 & 6000 rpms. I run this on a Tracker 170 protx.
