I am mounting a 1957 evinrude big twin model # 25028 on my boat and have a question about the hieght. I have read in other posts here that the anti-ventelation plate should be even with the bottom of the boat. That sounds o.k. but the water inlet on the big twin is above the ventelation plate...

I have just got an old evinrude and am not shure of the horse power or the year. I was told it is a 35 hp but i'm not shure that is correct. my model number is 25028-12532. Also it did not come with a fuel tank. Is it supposed to use a pressurized tank?
I have a 1972 sears ted williams and was wandering if the timing could be adjusted. The motor runs o.k. but it just seems like the timing is off a little. Any help would be great. Thanks
