    1990 40hp tilt/trim

    i have a 1990 40hp and when i hit button to lower engine, nothing but a clicking sound from engine. is there a manual lever to let the motor down? i really am dumb when it comes to this kind of stuff, sorry. any help would be greatly appreciated.
