    Cracked Bottom Cowl

    I have a Mercury 115 Optimax. There is a crack on the bottom cowl port side. Engine seems to be running fine still, but if I run it again could there be damage (what is the bottom cowl covering)? Do I need to replace the bottom cowl or can I seal up the crack and if so using what?
