    90 merc power trim bleeding help needed

    I just put a new power trim motor on the outboard and it works but loses strength as i hold the button in. If I intermittently press the switch the strength up and down is constant. How do i bleed the system or is there something else i need to look at? I do not want to cause any damage.

    mark needs help

    I have a 90 hp mercury outboard i believe a 1990-1992. I just installed a power trim motor and it works, but loses strength when the switch is held whether up or down. Do i have to bleed the system or is it self bleeding? Please help i don't want to cause damage to the system. Mark
