have 1976 chrysler sailor outboard - went to replace pump but lower unit will not release. followed the directions - if the drive is frozen to power head - how can you free it - help !!!
engine runs fine but could not get lower unit to seperate to replace pump - is the shaft frozen to head -how can you get driveshaft loose from head ??? where is the thermostat in this motor ?
