We are mounting a new console mounted throttle control on our pontoon boat. It is going on a 1995 60hp Mercury Bigfoot motor. The wires were cut off short on the old wiring harness. Do I have to have new harness or can the wires be spliced to meet the old wires. All of the cables are still good...
