I just bought a Skeeter TZX 190 boat w/ 2003 vz150. I can only get 5100 rpms out of the engine. I replaced the 25 m prop with a 23 tempest to get that much. The Yamaha 25 m only got to 4800 rpms. Any ideas as to what to checck on this engine?
I have a 1993 200 efi that will not accelerate beyond idle. I have checked the fuel system and found that the fuel pressure is 90 PSI ( should be 30-39 PSI)at the test port above the high pressure fuel pump. I know the fuel pressure regulator can cause this but it seems to be clear of debris(...
