I just took out a 2.5L Mercruiser w/o a electronic ignition and replaced it with a Yamaha 3.0L with an electronic ingition.....engine cranks but there is no fire on the distributor......there is a small plug mounted on the master plug.....i traced those wires back and they tie into the ingition...
