    Help looking up date of manufacture on vintage boat

    I have a vintage Alumacraft Model K and need help finding documentation on the year of manufacture for the title. The only number on the boat is on the transom bracket and is K1727. I contacted Alumacraft, but have heard nothing. I am certain the boat was made in the 1950's
