    rpm

    Can anyone tell me the max rpm for a 1987 model 30 hp Yahama? I can't get the motor to rev like I think it should. Will changeing the prop make it rev higher? I run it on a 1448 flat bottom boat and it wont run but about 22 mph. Should be faster right? Thanks for the help. <br />...

    I have a 30 hp yahama. It is a 1987 model and was oil injected. I bought it from a dealer and it had the oil injection removed. What is the mix for that motor 50 to 1 or 100 to 1. I have heard some yahama's mix 100 to 1. Thanks :confused: davidw7@nexband.com
