I have low hours Honda 9.9 (S/N commences BABJ1004 etc). Low oil pressure light comes on after starting.
Have checked oil condition and level all good there.
As main engine (honda is a aux. motor only) has 260 hours I would think 9.9 has around 26 hrs. run time so I find it hard to believe oil...
