    1985 Evinrude 50 VRO

    Starting a removal of the lower unit and ran into a jam. The shift lever bolt is tucked under the bottom carb and is proving near impossible to get at. Have the shop manual, but it shows the engine with the carbs removed. Is the manual trying to say something with a picture and not words?

    !980 Johnson 70 horse flooding

    Any ideas on what to do. Just got the motor. Started up and ran just fine for half a minute. Shut it off tried to start again. Plugs are wet, took them out, cleaned them, all three have spark. Even with the gas line off, and plugs out, quite a bit of fuel still comes out the bottom...

    Mid-80's Evinrude 25hp tiller, no start

    Im told it is a 84 25 horse, cannot find model #. Both plug wires provide spark, comp. check yielded 35 psi in top cyl and 60 in bottom. Engine will not fire, only popps out exhaust occasionally. Have an idea what to do but could use some expertise on this one.

    Sea King "Forty"
