I just bought a 1998 Hurricane deck boat with a bad Volvo Penta 5.7 (cracked block) and no outdrive. I have just bought a 2004 Mercruiser 5.0 with an Alpha 1 outdrive. Why I didn't think of this sooner but now I am trying to find out if this will work. There are 6 holes for the outdrive...
