    Tohatsu M50D water pump question

Lately the water seems to take several minutes to get to the pee hole on my Tohatsu M50D. It seems to discharge as usual once it gets there. Do'es this sound like it's time to change the water pump kit, or could it just be plugged. Thanks for any advice, it's sure been helpful in the past! Mike
