    fuel problems evinrude

    I have a 1989 50hp evinrude with vro it runs perfectly at low revs but when I open it up it accelerates and then dies it keeps doing this unless I squeeze the petrol primer bulb.It also works if I raise the petrol tank to gravity feed the fuel.I have checked for fuel leaks...
