    Stupid question, perhaps, but I am not sure of the answer...Here it is...does the battery charge as you're running the motor (engine)? Have a 35 HP Evinrude.

    I've got a 35 Evinrude that's been sitting for 3-4 years. I know little about outboards but I heard you should replace the impeller annually. I know where it is but what is its purpose?
