    tilt and trim question

    the electric motor on my tilt and trim is making grinding noises and its like itll just stop you wait a couple of minutes and its starts working again the motor has a brush card could this be the problem mabye just dirty from sitting up so long it sat for about a year any help would be great thanks

    fuel problems

    i changed my fuel filter the other day because it was dirty got about an hour running time on the motor and its dirty again it looks like little black flakes my tanks plastic can this make my engine run bad?<br /> thanks for all the help :) THE HOWSTER!!!

    a quick question

    coil wire shooting fire to motor from under the rubber boot. do i need to replace the wire or seal the boot with something? if i can seal it what can i use? its on the coil side and looks like it had some type of putty or something in there thanks guys :)

    just wondering

    i have a 75hp mariner working on a couple of things today i noticed fire jumping off of all 3 coils onto the engine from under the rubber caps does this mean my wires are bad or can i seal this with something? thanks for all yalls help<br /> howster!!! :)

    anybody know why???

    i have a 87 model 75hp mariner (dont have heads)<br />i have a bad thermastat and a busted diaphram leaking water around the plugs no water in cylinders thow gonna change gaskets to can any of these problems cause engine to pop and sometimes back fire any help is great help thanks :)

    (diafram prob..) plz help

    i have a 87 mariner 75 hp the diafram must be bad cause it leaks water from the weep hole can this make the motor lug down at the take off and pop back when idling???? (runs great at top speeds) and water stops dripping :confused: :rolleyes: <br /><br />thanks howster
