I have a used boat with a 30" transom, but I own a 25" single outboard. Besides buying a new engine with a 30" shaft, is there a cheaper way to mate the two. I've looked at Armstong outboard engine brackets and have considered having one made locally. Any ideas? My boat is a 24' Bayliner Trophy...
