    97 mercruiser 5.7 i have a overheat problem and i was gonna check the timing on it cause ive went thru most other options... How do i do it? i have never done it before. what kind of timing light should i purchase does it need to have timing and advanced timing ?

    alpha one gen 2 mercruiser where is water pick up on drive?

    1997 is the yar i want to check and see if there is some debri or somethign clogging the water pickup from the drive. where exactly is it? i looked in the manual but couldnt find it...can i do this in the water?

    can you change an impeller with boat in water?

    i dont have a trailer and i dont have a lift...im out of options and i was wondering if i can change the impeller while the boat is in the water? 1997 mercruiser 5.7 1997 alpha one drive i was told the drive is gen 2

    Please Help Overheat problem

    UPDATE AT BOTTOM OF THREAD OF WHAT I DID TODAY mercruiser 5.7 alpha one drive the boat overheats...if i take the boat over 3300rpms it overheats....if i gun it from a dead stop it over heats...if i take it up slowly in rpms i can sometimes get away with cruising for 10 minutes or so before it...
