Just put my outdrive back in. We went to launch, put it in neutral and it started in gear/lurched forward. Luckily my girl had us tied securely to the dock. ;o)
Any thought as to why this is happening? Suggestions to remedy?
Thanks,
Monster
I read in a older fourm that GM part # 3992251 would work for my 1989 mercruiser 3.0 L timing cover replacement. anyhelp would be nice. my engine serial number is 0C542094. I looked up part and was only $75.00 and that beats the $220.00 for a mercruiser part
1989 Alpha One removal... I have removed all 6 bolts. then put it in gear. :) I got it to move about One inch. I can't seem to get any farther then that. any tips?
