    bad running after decarb

    Idle RPMs don't seem right!

    Just wondering what's a good rpm idle for a force <br />1989 50hp... its 2 cylinder 2 cycled engine with a 50:1 fuel mix.<br />right now its idling at around 1500-2000 but that seems kind of high. if i go with lower rpms it seems not to start as easily and die at idle.

    intermitent blue spark

    i think i saw an intermitent blue spark on both cylinders. the engine wont start: it cranks, get cranking rpms on the tach gage, cleaned pretty much all the grounds and spraying fuel mix into the carb does nothing. i dont know what else to try guys! please help. could the stator, trigger...

    plugs fouling

    yheap, making the engine actually shut down! <br />but i found a little trick to cleaning the plugs with a drill and a piece of fine sand paper on the other end. works wonders as you can see. <br />the 2 plugs on the right are autolites (wich i dont recomend using) and the other ones are NGK...

    89 force 50hp wont stay in gear

    seems like the water is trying to drive the prop. after say 1/4 trotle. tryed adjusting the shift rod but no luck. <br />its just sliping out of gear under load so i'm thinking something to do with the clutch? any special tools i would need to take l.u. apart?

    i hope i can get some advice installing a tach in my boat and get it ready for sumer. <br />the engine it's a '87 force 50hp 2 cycle/cylinder outboard. i'm wondering where should i connect the signal wire to? what about the rest of the wires? thanks
