    Drive unit oil/ Any help I can Get

    I need to check my drive unit oil on a alpha one outdrive. The manual says to unscrew The vent screw and if oil comes out then your ok.     throttle

    I have a 1988 5.0 mercruiser alpha one --the throttle is very hard to push --the manual says there is a screw to adjust but i do not see a screw --this must be a different throttle,possibly changed over the years before I boughtbthe boat any Ideas? Thanks
