I have a 2006 50hp Mercury 4 stroke. With my previous boat I took out the spark plugs and fogged the cylinders in the fall. This new motor appears to have an ignition coil for each cylinder. I am thinking you need to remove these before you can remove the spark plugs. I am not sure about that...
