I have a 1985, 75 HP Merc,4 cyl with tilt and trim. Sometimes the tilt will go up but not down. Where are the up and down relays located? I have 3 tilt/trim switches so I rule them out.
I blew a fuse and had no power to tilt my motor when I got it on the trailer. How do I tilt it with no battery ? 75 Merc with factory trim and tilt.
Luckly after jaring the motor several times the fuse holder made up and I was able to go home. Someone had put a short fuse in the holder. Still...
I have a 1985 75 HP Merc. When I shift into Rev. It dies. If I set the Idel stop for higher RPMs it works ok. Around 1200 RPM. I am worried that this might damage the gears when shifting.
