    Engine oil for new 4 stroke

    I have never had a boat before and have a question before I ruin a new outboard. I just bought a Nissan 6hp 4 stroke. Is 10W-40 Mobil 1 High Mileage oil OK for the crankcase fill? I am not asking if synthetic is better than dino. I just want to know if it is acceptable. Thanks, Bobbo

    Proper gas for my new OB

    I have just bought my first ever boat and have a new 4 stroke Nissan 6HP engine for it. The Nissan manual recommends using gasoline with no ethanol in it. Where can I get gas without ethanol since automotive filling stations all seem to have 10% ethanol? TIA, Bobbo
