    Tach install on 115 HP evinrude?

    According to the seloc manual the tach wire is in the control box not connected so should i fish it out or is there a better solution, also the tach is used so should i calibrate it withh a timing light ,I'd have to borrow one with rpm reading, mine doesn't have it.     Help!!! The Lake Is Calling Me!

    I recently purchased a 70's model sea sprite tri-hull with a 115 rude(don't know year). Starter needed to be replaced and there was water in the fuel. Both have been fixed, but engine only runs on spray. The battery is fully charged and plenty of fuel, but acts like no fuel getting to carbs...
