    The motor that won't runs great under muffs and won't run right in the water is a Johnson 150 1989. It will finally take off after awhile running.

    I can hook the motor to the water hose to clean if from grit and the motor runs fine hooked to it. when i put it on the lake it doesn't want to run. it takes it awhile to take off and run like it should, if it does take off. what could cause this problem?<br /><br />i thought it was the...
