    I was ready to change my outdrive (I have a couple in my garage) but the noise from my motor were edging me to think that was my problem. Thanks for responding.

    The noise sounded like a valve problem. Took valve covers off, removed rockers and rods to check if any bent or loose. Put back together. None of the rods are bent. I also think bearing but not sure I'm up for the challenge.

    Letting all know that I replaced the TB4 with a Delco HEI. Starts and runs. Need to do some tweeks (timing) but for the cost, worth ditching the TB4. Thanks all for the advice and help!!!

    I followed flow chart a few times and always failed at the spark test (last test). Get 12V on coil. Changed coil and sensor as well. I've been looking for a module and havent found one yet. Hard to pay for the used one when no returns if it doesnt work.

    I've been disconnecting the W/G from the sensor not the coil neg and attaching ground to sensor. Will try next chance I get. I have already ordered a sensor after hearing the module rarely fails. Thanks again and will let you know how it turns out. I live where parts arent readily available.
