Regarding hydro lock, this seemed to start last year and my marine mechanic was able to start it up fine and winterize it. Seems like he would’ve mentioned it if he saw it.
I have an 87 Mercruiser 165 io engine. When I go to start it, it either just clicks or just barely turns over. It has a new battery and connections to it look fine. Any other ideas on what could be happening ?
