    Went without any Gasket sealer in the end. All went back together mint. And we’ve now got a functioning Thermostat and it’s reading around 160 on the Temp Gauge! Now to get the Tach working 🤦‍♂️

    Hi Team Rebuilding the Thermostat Housing on our 4.3l V6. Question, Gasket Cement on the Cork Gasket that goes into the Housing before the Thermostat goes in? And same question for the Gasket that has the Brass Inserts that goes between the Thermostat Housing and the Motor Body? Thanks Again

    No. We did not. But the symptoms seemed to be pointing (eventually) to the Fuel Pump. Where is the Anti-Siphon Valve? And how would one check it? Thanks

    Update… Have grounded the Blue wire from the Oil Sender & Oil Gauge maxed out. Removed the Oil Sender, cleaned it up (was a bit messy looking around the base) Cranked the motor with the Oil Sender removed, Oil pumped out. Reinstalled the Oil Sender, connected wire, Cranked the Motor and Oil...

    Thanks… So just to clarify 🤦‍♂️ #8 is the Oil Sender for the Gauge at the Helm (makes the Oil Gauge work on the Helm) #10 is the Pressure Switch for the Fuel Pump (as in post #5) and sends signal to the Fuel Pump to turn on. #34 is Switch for the Alarm for Oil Pressure (definitely working!!) 8...
