    Ear muffs/cold temp gauge

    After running motor for 20 min with muffs my temp gauge only got to 110.The Gauge moved,a little so i assume it works.I wanted to make shure the the thermostat was working but it never got hot enough.Is that normal? (hose water is ice cold,upper engine hoses never warmed up) Mercruiser 4.3

    Older Powerwinch testing

    I recently bought a trailer.It has an older Powerwinch 912 on it.Before I buy a wiring harness can it be tested to see if it works.I was thinking of running two plain wires from battery to the 2 post to see if it will run.Any thoughts? Is there a pos and neg on the posts?
