    Can cavitation/ventilation cause prop pitting?

    Marine CB radios

    I'm not a radio buff. Does anyone make a good marine quality CB radio (waterproof, etc)? And are these on the same frequency as automotive type CB's?<br /><br />I've got VHF's, but want the CB for non-VHF type use while on the water.<br /><br />Thanks.

    Dual tanks....run 'em dry or leave a little?

    Bleeding air from trim/tilt

    Where's the best performance in rpm range?

    Yamaha says my F115 should run between 5000 and 6000 rpm. The motor makes maximum power at 5500. I run 35 mph at 5600 WOT with a 17 pitch prop.<br /><br />So should I be shooting for 6000 with a 15 pitch? Or jump to a 19 pitch more around 5000?<br /><br />5000-6000 seems like a WIDE range...

    Where are the 115 - 200 hp 4-strokes?

    The only 4-stroke in the 115-200 range seems to be the 140 Suzuki. Why in the world doesn't anyone make a 150 or 175 4-stroke?<br /><br />I'd buy one.
