I just bought this boat with a 1985 black max XR2.Because of the price I bought the boat I did not water test it.With muffs on the motor went in forward and reverse and still does.But when put in the lake the reverse jumps.I adjusted the linkage until forward no longer worked and it still jumped...

i have a 12/24 volt sytem on a nitro i just purchased and the 24 side wont work.i think maybe the toggle switch on the trolling motor itself is bad.can i wire it up to run on 24 volts all the time?and if so how do i wire it?thanks in advance for any and all replys.see ya' Bill
