I curently have a 9 pitch prop i beleive an dam thinkin about changing props. the boat is pretty heavy and dont know if i should get a bigger prop or go smaller. i am just lookin to get a little more push out of the motor. any help would be greatly appreciated

I have a Motorguide trolling motor that keeps kicking out on #5 speed it will work fine for a little bit but just quits working.It works fine on all other speeds. What could be a possible fix for this.<br /><br />BassMan31 :confused:

will trim tabs help get my boat on plane? I already have a foil and it does not get it on plane. I am running a 15hp merc. Are tim tabs even an option for my situation? I am very confused.
I recently bought and had installed a 15hp carb om my 9.9 mercury it is not performing as I anticipated. Is there any thing else that I can do? I have thought about getting a different prop, but do not know if this will help either. Any help would be appreciated.
