Repowering a 1996 26' Larson Cabrio that had a 1996 7.4L Volvo Penta DUO-Prop package with a 1998 7.4 Bravo 3 package.
My question is that there was 2 positive battery cables run to the rear of each side of the motor. I didnt see the engine come out so I dont know what the second battery cable...

Does anyone know the best way to jump the engine harness to supply 12v DC to boat key switch for testing purposes? I have my Merc 454 MPI out of the boat right now and before it goes back in I wanted to make sure all my pumps etc are working.

I am converting a 96 volvo 454 carb set up to a 98 merc 454 mpi set up. Can I use the same controls and cables or do I need to buy new controls and cables? It looks like the only difference is the ends of the cables...
Any info would be appreciated
