I put a new prop on a 200 johnson.Never saw the spacer frozen to the old prop.The new prop drove itself into the lower unit housing egging it out and gouging out the aluminum housing.I re installed another new prop ,this time with the spacer.Now the boat will not move out from a stand still.RPM...

Just pulled out for the season.Had my motor winterized.(200 johnson 2001) they tell me I should change the seals in the lower unit next season;some water seen in the oil.How difficult is it for me to do this myself.
I hear about max rpm all the time,I have a 2001 johnson 200 on a 24 foot hydra-sport what do you think the max rpm should be for this setup.I see about 4800 rpm at WOT,it seems a little low to me but motor runs good.How about it,what do you guys think.
The motor has been run for five hours. I put extra oil in the gas tank as per the dealer for motor break-in. I noticed, coming out of the exhaust, grayish-brown blobs (possibly gas/oil?) with some clear water. Is this normal?
