I have a 2010 skeeter sx190 with a yamaha 115 4 stroke. I read on a outboard website I can change ratios in the lower end and change prop pitch and get another 10-12 mph? Anyone heard of this or how?

I had to purchase a stator for my perfect running 115 hp and the numbers off of old one was 398-9710a31 which is a 6 wire stator the new Red stator part # 398-832075a6 only has 4 wires WHAT DO YOU DO WITH THE EXTRA RED WIRES?????????????? Serial # 0g144015 any help?
Changed water pump impeller on 60 hour 1995 115 elypto last weekend just PM no problems. now engine won't start at all no spark to plugs at all verified all wires switches (dead man) and all connections. no spark at all what else to look for? no pinched wires nothing !
