My 78 model 40hp 402 electric start stator died. The cdi replacement stator #174-5255 replaces the (oem) 398-5255. It also replaces the 398-4770 (different year model 40 hp 402, I think.) stator. I've located a new in box 398-4770 stator at a great price. My question is will the 398-4770...
