    compression check 150 Fast Strike

    Is is possible to do a compression check on a 150 hp fast start johnson that is not running? I am just looking to get some indication of the condition of the motor before buying something that is not operable. Thx for your input

    Flywheel and stator

    Looking at used 1991 150hp Fast Strike with damage to stator and flywheel from what appears to be the result of magnet coming loose. Should I be concern with other damage other than the obvious? Is this something that happens? Is it possible to repair a flywheel? Thanks
