I have a mercy 9.9 four stroke.
Will go on the first haul in the mornings runs fine but if you turn it off 5 minutes later you can pull and no go, choke no go, (lots of pressure on ball) ... wait 15 -20 minutes .. 1st haul.
trolling works well for about an hour or so and then may cut out ...
