    2005 proline 23ft with a 2005 merc 200 efi cant get it over 3000 rpm at full throttle. checked the cooling system - all is well. whats my next step? fuel filter ? spark plugs? what else can i check before going to a mechanic? any help is appreciated

    mercury 200 efi losing power

    I have a mercury 200 efi 2 stroke , 23 foot proline. the last few times i went to go out, the battery is dead, completely dead. no idea what could be draining it - will take a jump and start up no problem, but now at full throttle the engine is sluggish. sounds fine, but only going 15-18...
