I am attempting to replace the bellows in my 1976 mercruiser stern drive. I belive it is a Type #1. I am trying to remove the two pins (nails) that keep the bell housing pins in place. Is there a trick to removing these pins? I tried pulling them out with pliers and vice grips to no avial...
