    Loss of Acceleration after 3/4 throttle?

    20hp mercury...unknown year....after 3/4 throttle the engine revs normal rpm's but has zero acceleration....it runs normal speed from idle to 3/4 throttle....any suggestions?<br /><br />Thanks

    Loss of speed after 3/4 throttle

    Old merc. unknown year, after giving more than 3/4 throttle the engine revs but does not increase in speed......I suspect a lingage problem....any suggestions or hints?<br /><br />Thank you

    Loss of RPM on 1998 OMC 50 HP

    The problem is this....At higher RPM or W.O.T....the engine seems to bog down and make an almost distinct repetitive noise.....Idle seems to be ok and lower rpm's are ok...but once it reaches a certain rpm it loses power....any suggestions....my thought is a bad powerpack?
