Recently I sold my 1988 90hp. Tilt/Trim 20" shaft Evinrude. The buyer took it to his mechanic to replace T-stats, and the mechanic said to do it properly, he needed to remove the powerhead to access the bolts. This sounds like an awful lot of trouble to change T-stats. And big money. Anyone know...
