    2003 5.0 Mercruiser stalling when putting into gear (either foward or reverse)

    I have had two days on the water with this boat this year with no problems. The third day the engine started stalling when trying to be put into gear (cold or hot). Is this a bad fuel problem or something more serious? Thoughts?
