    No spark following new coil - brand new coil bad?

    Long journey but will try to summarize to relay facts/efforts to date. 1984 omc 1.6 l sea drive 115 hp. Boat sat for 8 years before we got our hands on it. So far we have replaced gas line, water separator, rebuilt carbs, fuel filter, plugs, plug wires, 3 of 4 coils (more on this in a minute)...

    Loss of power - fuel delivery/mix issue

    Took our 1984 OMC 1.6 L 115 hp seadrive out today. It ran great for about 2 hours with no issues. It would top out around 35 mph at wot. After we refueled, it ran for about 5 minutes with no issues and then started to hesitate/lose power. It started seem like it was missing once every 30 seconds...

    Omc sea drive 1.6l - finally started after throttling up

    A buddy and I ventured into powerboats together with a1984 19' renken with a 115 hp OMC sea drive. The boat had not been moved since 2005 but was just rebuilt prior. After new fuel line, battery, plugs, and wires we got it to start. But the only way was for us to disconnect the throttle cable...
