    1967 6 horse evinrude dies at high rpm

    The motor will idle fine and cruise at a low rpm. It will run at full throttle for a few minutes then,makes a loud knocking sound, like really loose lifters in your car, then dies. After that it takes a while but will restart. Also I'm having trouble finding out what the rest of the ID means...

    82 evinrude15 electric start problem

    Can't figure out how to wire the switch for electric start. I have 3 wires, but how do I know If they're hooked up right?? I need a power ground and one from the coil and or starter right??? Please advise <br />thanks :confused:

    82 Evinrude 15 tiller handle "swap"

    I have an 82 evinrude 15 horse that needed a tiller handle, so I came across an 1987 15 horse with a tiller handle. Is it possible to take the handle from the 87 and put it on the 82?? My 82 does not have the cable "setup" where as the 87 does. My 82 has more of a gear. If not for the handle...
