Very nice. The only cruise that ever appealed to me is those inner passage ones.

My daughter flew some clients to NH yesterday and said the fall color were amazing but she didn’t get any pics.

Ok since I just posted one Alaska picture, I’ll post one last one. This is in Glacier Bay showing one of the glaciers that flow into Glacier bay. The pic doesn’t do it justice. To see this up close boggles the mind. For all to view this the ship goes into the middle of glacier bay and does 3 360 degree turns on its axis using its thrusters.

its sandstone ,1st and only thing I ever carved .....which is why there isnt a close up supposed to be a bear

Thank you for that .....nobody else thought it was a bear tho , most thought a dog or mythical beast.........thats why I shoved it under the bush and let green stuff grow on it . Been there since May 2015 .
Actually the bushes were quite small when we moved there , on the right you can just see the top of the fence I built , its 1.5m high and the bushes weren't even near up to that , more like 1m , but I think as soon as they had a bit of shelter from the spring winds we get here they rocketed off .....over 2m now .

I got to thinking about a friend of
mine that had never carved before.
I gave him a big aromatic cedar log and he carve a tuna out of it. The grain worked out great for a fish. He thought is was terrible and I thought he did an amazing job. I convinced him to sell it he said what ya think $500? I said its art man go for $5,000. He thought I was nuts. It sold in a weeks time.

Had a little fire at the launch ramp … returning from a 46 mile round trip run. Rectifier decided to catch fire … I walked to the truck to get the trailer to pull it out and came back to flames! Fire extinguisher utilized to knock down fire … saw what it was and disconnected battery. If it had been a longer walk to the truck it could have been ugly! I will be cleaning her up tomorrow and replacing the rectifier on Wednesday …

Yikes! Glad nobody was hurt and you were able to save it from a much worse outcome.

Needs a good cleaning and I should only have to replace the rectifier. At least that is the start. A little meltage on the inside of the engine cover, but nothing major and outside isn’t effected. Should be a relatively easy fix.

"Should be a relatively easy fix" I can't count how many times I have thought the same but proved wrong. Hope your luck is better than mine.
