this early i just go with the picks but took Jets as my upset. Got an old online boat buddy who is a long time sufferer.

And chiefs are not favored so i guess i picked two upsets.

Because their coach, in his infinite wisdom, wanted to keep the same practice and game day schedule as usual (although this was the first game of the season and a Thursday night game). So travel days and times stayed "as usual."

I think it was some of both last night. SF was rested from having arrived in Australia on Monday, the Rams were tired. SF played better football. The Rams Miles Garrett played, but was non-existent in what he did on the field. Later saying he wasn't up to par. Watching the game, SF should have/could have won by a much larger margin.
